We're currently developing a portal project for alpha testing May 2008 ~ it will change how the game is played!
~ a dynamic portal with internet & extranet-like features in a SharePoint package!
the internet feature is positively charged with all the potential to revolutionize the way marketing happens in Dentistry. it's "on demand" "push button" growth! it will
make and break practices... it will make practices by driving "preferred" patients in the chair ready to say yes because they've been educated in the portal, they've filled out new patient forms & they've RSVP'd their apppointmnet with a $50 sign of good faith. Or, it can break practices if your neighbor enters the game first ~ bc it's territory exclusive & yes, it is that overwhelming. this internet piece will provide at least 2 continuous streams of revenue: 1. monthly membership fee & 2. banner ads.
the extranet features are designed to wrap around an existing practice management software, such as Dentrix or Eagle Soft, in a SharePoint-like environment. in doing so, world leaders in professional service solutions organizations become an extension of the dental practice, virtually of course bc now you have unlimited office space! this enables the SPs' mission to happen: isolating & enhancing the core competency of the business & outsourcing everything else to the experts enables "make little distinction between work & play." the scope of the professional services are unlimited in this virtual world!!
